Dear Friends,

Paul reminds us, Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, Rejoice…do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the Peace of God, which surpasses all understanding will guard your heart and your minds in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4)

That is what we need to focus on with the pandemic before us. While people are reacting, countries demanding and futures in question, we have a certainty that will not let us down. It seems each day is “fluid” and things change quickly. We will get through this as we have a God and loving Father who promises to care for us. The entire world is enveloped in a spiritual pandemic that will kill all of us; it is called sin. There is an antidote, vaccine, medicine and cure for it, that is the shed Blood of Christ and His Victory over sin, death and Satan. This is not a frivolous and simple solution, but the power, direction and hope that we can share with others.

It is difficult to know what the next weeks or months have in store for us, but rest in Christ’s grace, peace and mercy. We must be safe, practical, applying common sense and wisdom. Do what you can to be healthy and strong; be of help to your neighbor, keep your hope in Christ. We will get back to a normal and regular life as God directs and wills. Until then, take what Paul said above. Maybe memorize is, copy it and share with others, and trust that it is true.

We will try to keep you updated and informed as possible. Please let us know what we can do to provide for your needs.

In Christ’s love,

Pastor Greg Hoffmann
